Databases

The service offer of IT-Breeding comprises development of customer-specific databases and intensive support in their application and extension to include internal data. The databases can run on standard PC and are provided with simple and very user-friendly interface.

The databases:

• show correlations between the traits and molecular markers
• uncover the genetic basis of the plant traits
• allow the breeders to establish MAS-based breeding or to optimize the on-going programmes
